Cold weather is on the way and a great time to enjoy turkey stew. Stoney Hill Center will cook its annual turkey stew on Oct. 3. The price is $6.00 per quart. Pick up will be on Friday, Oct. 3rd between 4:00-6:30 p.m. Please contact a center member to reserve your stew before Sept. 28th.
St. Luke’s will have a Country Fried Steak Supper on Saturday, October 11. The menu will consist of steak, rice, gravy, slaw, bread and pickle. You can eat-in or take-out from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Cost is $ 8.00 per plate. Bake sale items will also be available. All monies raised will go toward ongoing church projects. The annual meeting to approve the 2015 budget and elect 5 new council members will be held on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014 at the 11:00 a.m. service.
Trip to the Holy Land: Bobby Morris and Pastor Art Hallman are planning another trip to the Holy Land. The dates are January 19-30, 2015.
