Partnership For Survival
"You have cancer," are frightening words!
Conquering cancer is the goal and the hope of many cancer survivors.
Learning to live with the uncertainties of cancer and its treatments is a big challenge. Cancer support can be found when those who struggle with the challenges do it together.
If
you have cancer and desire to meet the challenges of living with cancer in a
positive way, then this support group is for you. We are a self-help group,
which means we are here to help one another by sharing and pooling experiences,
exchanging information, giving and receiving strength from each other,
supporting each other, and sharing HOPE.
One of the primary purposes of a self-help group is to provide an environment whereby people with common problems or similar stressful life situations can meet with one another and help each other cope with their problems in a supportive, caring and nonjudgmental atmosphere.
