Dedication Service
The dedication of the new building took place November 20, 2005. The service also celebrated Homecoming Sunday and Reception of New Members.
Participating in the service was (from left) Rev. Cathy Chartier, assistant to SC Synod Bishop David Donges, Rev. Art Hallman, St. Luke's pastor, Rev. Delano Ricard, St. Luke's visitation pastor, and Rev. Henry Brandt, St. Luke's emeritus pastor.
Over 400 people gathered in the church sanctuary to celebrate this joyous day.

The dedication portion of the service took place outside in front of the new building.
As the congregation gathers outside, the officiating ministers, worship assistants, St. Luke's building committee and building contractors gather in front of the main entrance of the new building for the dedication liturgy.
At the conclusion of the dedication liturgy, building committee chairman Wayne Nichols cuts the ribbon, officially opening the new building.
Waiting inside was an unbelievable spread of delicious food.
The St. Luke's Youth staffed the kitchen and made sure everyone had something to drink.
Everyone sat down and enjoyed the first fellowship gathering in this new space. We look forward to many more in the future and hope to see you there!
